기업 소개

Glycovax Pharma is a Montréal-based, clinical-stage glyco-immunology company built on a long-standing partnership with Canada's National Research Council (NRC). Its proprietary GlycoForge platform integrates carrier protein, linker, glycoantigen and adjuvant for vaccine development. Through its wholly owned commercial division, Espoir Therapeutics, it supplies SLA and recombinant CRM197 for co-development. SLA (Sulfated Lactosyl Archaeol) is a fully synthetic, chemically defined liposomal adjuvant included in the CEPI Adjuvant Library. It is squalene-free and free of animal-sourced inputs, with ≥95% purity and ≥12-month stability at 2–8°C. In preclinical models, it has demonstrated Th1/Th2/Th17 and cytotoxic T-cell responses, mucosal IgA induction, and enhanced antigen retention and uptake across viral, bacterial and cancer antigens. The pipeline includes GVX-002, a tumour-associated carbohydrate antigen (TACA)-based vaccine program with Phase 1 completed for COVID-19; a preclinical Pseudomonas aeruginosa conjugate vaccine approaching clinical-trial application, based on an NRC-licensed synthetic glycoantigen; and oncology glycoconjugate vaccine candidates based on fully synthetic TACAs. Glycovax holds exclusive worldwide NRC licences for SLA, CRM197 and the P. aeruginosa antigen, and Université Laval galectin-3 inhibitor rights. Its recombinant CRM197 has been validated against the global reference by an independent CQA panel. The company holds 82 patents granted or pending across 19 jurisdictions and has institutional ties with the NRC, Université de Montréal, Université Laval, CEPI, CQDM and HERC. Its team co-invented Quimi-Hib, the first semisynthetic vaccine, which has reached more than 70 million people.
