Epiloid Biotechnology Inc. is a Toronto-based contract research organization (CRO) specializing in AI-driven insights from iPSC-derived human brain organoid models for CNS drug screening. We develop three-dimensional, patient-derived organoid models of neurological disease, including Parkinson's disease and epilepsy, that replicate human brain tissue architecture and function at a level unachievable with traditional 2D cultures or animal models. Our platform enables pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies to evaluate drug candidates in biologically authentic, human-relevant preclinical models. We examine holistic biological activity in response to therapeutic interaction, and have achieved a 94% accuracy in predicting therapeutic relevance for CNS disorders. Epiloid offers drug screening as a service, providing partners with multimodal readouts including electrophysiology, immunofluorescence, and transcriptomics. Our mission is to improve clinical trial success by stratifying clinical trial participants to the patients most likely to be positive responders, and reduce the unnecessary failure due to unforeseen human toxicity. We are currently seeking strategic global partnerships to accelerate adoption of our technology in the neurotherapeutic drug discovery pipeline.
