The NRC’s Life Sciences Division houses three research centres: - Human Health Therapeutics (HHT): Develops vaccines and biologic therapeutics to protect the health of Canadians. - Medical Devices (MD): Develops point-of-care microfluidic diagnostic devices and evidence-based digital assessment tools, devices and biomarkers for health monitoring, diagnostics and management. - Aquatic and Crop Resources Development (ACRD): Develops technologies that enable sustainable climate adaptation and utilization of agricultural and marine bioresources.
