CereCura Nanotherapeutics is a preclinical-stage Canadian biotechnology company revolutionizing the treatment of central nervous system (CNS) disorders. Our proprietary platform leverages a novel "brain bioreactor" approach using brain-optimized lipid nanoparticle (LNP) mRNA technology. By instructing a ubiquitous subpopulation of glial support cells to continuously manufacture and release secretory therapeutic proteins directly inside the blood-brain barrier (BBB), we achieve broad, sustained, and tunable protein distribution throughout the brain interstitial fluid and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF). This modular, "plug-and-play" modality overcomes the spatial and temporal limitations that have historically caused conventional CNS biologics to fail.
