BIOTECanada is the national industry-funded association dedicated to the sustainable commercial development of biotechnology in Canada by reflecting the broad spectrum of biotech including emerging, established and related companies in the health, agricultural, and industrial sectors. Its goals are to inspire the domestic and international community to recognize the value of biotechnology in Canada and to provide solutions to the challenges Canadians face. In addition to providing significant health benefits for Canadians, our members are an essential part of the Canadian economy. They are leading-edge developers of biological therapeutics and vaccines, they develop innovative life-saving biotech treatments, they fund research and development, provide professional services, such as legal, patent and IT to biotech companies across the full biotech sector, (ie. health, agricultural and industrial).
